Little bit of this, little bit of that

I get to meet so many wonderful people in my job. But the absolute best is getting to photograph the people I already know. The ones I’m rooting for. I’ve known Terah for a few years through a mutual friend and she is a gem. Their story is truly inspiring. After years of infertility, 2 miscarriages, and 2 rounds of IVF they conceived but were shocked when Indy Llew was born with Down Syndrome. Not even a few years later Indy was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, a form of cancer that affects the cells of the bone marrow very similar to leukemia. Terah is so knowledgable in holistic living and uses what she knows through that, as well as formal training as a nurse practitioner, to keep her family healthy and help Indy continue to grow and thrive. As they adjusted to life they were shocked to find out that they were expecting miracle baby girl #2. I was ecstatic for them when I read her post. True joy. This is what I live for. Capturing these sweet moments for families is pure joy to me. Sweet Birdy was such a delight to photograph. The daintiest little honey. Go check out Terah’s blog, Sunshine & Sustenence

I love neutrals for newborn sessions but I love color just as much. Which is your favorite?
